Default Easier to find Fur Squares?

Hi guys,
The newest patch says that silk, fur squares, etc. are now easier to get. Does that mean that the odds of expert salvaging it is better? Or is there another way to get fur squares now? I don't seem to find anything on it. Thanks.

Most likely, (haven't played today) that they are easier to salvage.

Also, there are more ways to get them... if you don't believe me, talk to the collectors in Ascalon City (post-Searing)

For me, out of around 10-15 tries I got 1 fur square & one silk. Better than I had been getting though.

Really? The ones I talked to didn't have anything special, but I also didn't talk to the ones I had previously been to. Guess I'm going to have to check it out after work.

The one that trades charr hides for a belt pouch will trade you a fur square now, yep.

I haven't seen it yet, but I hear it's 4 hides for 1 fur square, which is a good trade. Each expert salvage attempt costs you 16g. The collector will do it for free. Expert kit = 400g and contains 25 charges:
400g/25=16g per use

I'd say stock up on em for cheap, they made them TOO easy so they'll probably end up making them a little harder (nice happy medium) then you can sell there for a decent profit.

Wasn't silk already easy as hell to get?

Maguuma spider web or whatever+ expert salvage kit= silk I've only got dust once before the new update.
